Motto

Our Motto

Posside sapientiam. Posside prudentiam.
Acquire wisdom. Acquire understanding.

Our motto is found in Proverbs 4:5a, written by Solomon, the wisest man who ever was or will be.
The motto captures the spirit of what and how things are taught at Chambers College. The student entering Chambers College must be committed in his or her heart to the truth that the understanding and wisdom that is gained from the Bible is a prerequisite to godly success in life.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10

How blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding. For its profit is better than the profit of silver, and its gain than fine gold. Proverbs 3:13-14

Our program concentrates on developing students’ understanding of God’s character and God’s ways, especially as exemplified in Jesus Christ. A true disciple must have a commitment to the simplicity of devotion found in Matthew 6:33

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
